“My fridge is a mess!”
That probably crossed your mind several times and no matter
how often you clean it, it still ends up disorganized and messy – spoiled
leftovers, expired snacks, and overripe produce.
We’re here to help! Here is a how-to in organizing your
fridge for an easy access and mess-free storage.
1. Upper shelves: These are for ready-to-eat foods that should be consumed immediately.
- Leftovers. Store in glass containers instead of
plastic ones because the former are more eco-friendly and less hazardous than
the latter.
- Drinks. This includes milk and chocolate drinks.
- Ready-to-eat foods (like yogurt, cheese, and
deli meats). Put these items in a container labeled “eat me first!”
2. Lower shelves: These are for raw ingredients for cooking dishes and snacks.
- Cut veggies and fruits. Whether for snack or for
cooking, this part belongs to your already cut produce. Again, store it in
glass jars for safekeeping.
3. Doors: These are the warmest part of your ref, so nothing easily perishable should go here.
- Condiments. This includes mayo and sauces.
- Snacks. Juices for your chikitings that they can reach on their own.
4. Drawers: These hold produce at specific temperatures.
- Meats. As these normally go in the upper part of
your fridge, these should be put in containers before you put it in the drawers.
This is to prevent liquid from it from falling in our fruits and veggies.
- Wei Wei Balls and Buns. You’re Wei Wei products
go here to but worry not about your them because they’re properly sealed so
there will be no leaks!
- Fresh fruits and veggies. These two can be put
in the same place together, however do note that not all fruits and veggies
belong to your ref, some are better stored in room temperature.
Store your Wei Wei products properly in the fridge. Or
better yet, eat them immediately! Just restock by getting your FreshlyFrozen
ingredients at Wei Wei Cold Store’s 3 branches (Arranque, Cubao, or BGC) or in
leading groceries and supermarkets nationwide. For more information, you may
