• 1 medium red onion, quartered
• 2 medium tomato, quartered
• 3 thumb-sized ginger, julienned
• 1 small green papaya, sliced
• ½ cup malunggay leaves
• 1-2 cups hot chili pepper (sili) leaves
• 1 stalk lemongrass, sliced
• 8 cups water
• 2 tablespoons fish sauce (patis) to taste
• 1 bunch scallions, sliced

1. Pour water in a pot. Bring to boil.
2. Add ginger, onion, and tomato. Re-boil.
3. Drop the lemongrass after a while. Cover and let simmer for 4-5 minutes.

5. Add the hot chili pepper leaves, scallions, and malunggay leaves.
6. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes under low to medium heat.
7. Add fish sauce to taste.
8. Transfer to a serving plate.
